i was looking for race videos over the net. but using the word "race" on search engines gave me race to witch mountain . i got curious and watched it. sad to say, it ain't my type. fair casting and not so good effects is what i can say. it's not good, but, its not bad, either. i don't recommend to buy or rent it. borrow it from someone you know that owns one. or, maybe, download it from thepiratebay . i also won't recommend that you keep it in your hard drive. it's not worth keeping. oh, and garla gugino is still hot.

i got interested with the gamer because of gerard butler - very good acting on 300 . but it didn't started there. it started with the spy next door of jackie chan where i saw amber valletta . and as an info geek that i am, i searched for other movies she starred. and gamer was her last movie before the comedy/spy flick. review? it's bloody, sexy and cool! which means it's good. i would recommend it to be watched on the big screen. but hd/plasma at home will do.

i came across the linux timeline in wikipedia and learned that there are three major distros(distributions) where most of them came from. debian slackware redhat ubuntu, KNOPPIX and gibraltar are some of the distros that were based from debian. i would say it's a cross between slackware and redhat - and that's based from some of my research. i just dont have time to post details madriva, fedora and the "philippines distro" bayanihan are based from redhat. a very corporate feel and stable distro if you ask me slackware, which was the basis of openSuSE and vector, is a hobbyist distro basing from its history. althought, its support and community are as stable.

i've always wanted to learn linux for years. but i'm still stuck with this crappy w!ndows v!sta - yes, v!sta. the crappiest of them all. and now that i have some time and a spare laptop to use, i managed to install ubuntu studio . why ubuntu studio? i just got fascinated with the programs it came with. the first thing i checked was if i could go online, wireless that is. sad to say, the browser couldn't fetch anything. fortunately, getting the laptop wired got me online. and that's one less trouble for me. now, the problem at hand is that there is no wireless connection. solution - search the web. i landed on ubuntuforums.com and found out that ubuntu studio doesn't install the gnome network manager which is like the "view available networks" on xp and "connect to a network" on v!sta. so, lets just install it. i mean, lets try to install it. next: installing a program in linux

I recently rediscovered skyfire browser. and when I say it's good, it's very good. it took me a day to get the hang of it on my samsung i780. after that, it's all worth the surf. still figuring out though, the multiple tab function. that's if ther's one. back when I first got this i780, I remember that i installed the older(i guess) version of skyfire which I didn't like. so, I opted for the opera. but I think i'll be switching again this time... oh, btw. im posting this entry with skyfire. just try to google it.

i needed to print a music sheet for this idea that's been bugging me. google gave some options like: 8notes.com blanksheetmusic.net virginia.edu but 8notes.com has a lot to offer aside from music sheet. so, it's best to browse around. blanksheetmusic.net needs you to sign-up and login before you can program your own music sheet and print it. and, sad to say, the sheet cant be save as pdf or picture file, which will get you to login everytime you want to just print. the university of virginia's (uva) page has limited, but very useful, collection. and if you're looking for the ordinary sheet here's the link thanks to uva. it has 10 stave and it's to be printed on a regular (8.5x11) paper.

i first tasted crème brûlée as a flavor of zagu 's product. and from then on, it was my favorite from their line-up. and now that i have learned it to be the best (if not one of the best) dessert, i looked for its recipe and it led me to this video from youtube. it was uploaded by people from rouxbe.com . at it was accompanied by a link to their recipe page . and now i know that the sugar on top of it is torched. can't wait to make one.
