let's make crème brûlée

i first tasted crème brûlée as a flavor of zagu 's product. and from then on, it was my favorite from their line-up. and now that i have learned it to be the best (if not one of the best) dessert, i looked for its recipe and it led me to this video from youtube. it was uploaded by people from rouxbe.com . at it was accompanied by a link to their recipe page . and now i know that the sugar on top of it is torched. can't wait to make one.

reversed 52 week money challenge

It's highly suggested that you read 52 Week Money Challenge first before proceeding with the article. If you are still reading then I'll assume you know most about it already. Let's continue... So you can wait for one year? Very good. And you think that you'll have continuous income for a year? Even better. You can afford to set aside Php2,600.00? Cool! You think that the challenge will not work for you?(for some reason) Then try this one for size Start from the biggest amount and work your way in reverse. Hence, it's call Reversed 52 Week Money Challenge. Since it's the same challenge, but in reverse. What is so different about it? I just feel that I won't finish the challenge with the normal way of doing it. I felt tha...

Step back a few feet, and you see the image: a face, a landscape, a composition. Step back further, across the room, and you see how the painting relates to its frame, the wall, the space it occupies. Step back outside the building, and the painting disappears entirely into the larger context of the museum, the city, the culture. Same painting. Different scales of observation. And at each scale, different features become visible while others disappear. The brushstrokes that dominated up close are invisible from across the room. The composition that emerged at medium distance fragments into meaningless marks up close. Neither view is "wrong". They're both accurate descriptions of what's observable at that scale. This is what scale means in contextual stratification: the resolution of observation, th...
